March 23, 2020 Update
We just got confirmation from Country Thunder directly that you should renew your campsites and tickets during the postponed date of the festival – not the original date.

March 18, 2020 Update
Country Thunder posted these updates about Country Thunder Arizona today (essentially no updates other than stay tuned).
March 17, 2020 Update
The Town of Florence, Arizona posted a press release about coronavirus and its effect on the events through the end of April, 2020.
-The Town is cancelling all special events through the end of April. This will include POWWOW, Eggstravaganza, Road to Country Thunder, and Movie in the Park.
–Town representatives have also reached out to the organizers of Country Thunder, Gallagher Softball Tournament, Third Fridays on Main, and the upcoming Rail 3 Ranch Rodeo to make them aware of the CDC guidance.

March 15, 2020 Update
There has been no official announcement from the Country Thunder team. However, Governor Ducey announced that Arizona would follow the newly-announced CDC guidelines that events of 50+ participants should be canceled.
In an interview with azcentral, Country Thunder’s Gerry Krochak said about Country Thunder Arizona:
“What I can tell you right now is that the situation being very… I hate to say fluid. It’s way beyond fluid. It’s been changing every minute, every hour, every day. As of [this minute], we’re definitely working with all the authorities, city officials, and the CDC, but we’re going to give ourselves until the end of the month to make a determination.”

Country Thunder Arizona is April 16-19, 2020 as originally scheduled.
Asked if Friday’s news [about Country Thunder Florida] affects the fate of Country Thunder Arizona, the festival’s marketing and media relations director Gerry Krochak said, “Not at this time, no.”
